Bruno Almeida's paper is out
Yesterday, Bruno Almeida's research paper about the correlations between three portuguese nautical charts has been published at the International Journal of Cartography, entitled Famous charts and forgotten fragments: exploringcorrelations in early Portuguese nauticalcartography.
This paper is a case study that emerged from a question left unanswered in the Portugaliae Monumenta Cartographica. More important than the results, the author says he "always believed that the main objective was to show, once again, that the type of methodology explored by the MEDEA Project (that includes cartometric analysys, etc.) must be a standard, and not an exception, in the History of Cartography".
